John is an experienced Finance Director who, following his training in Ireland, has followed a successful career path primarily in blue chip and global pharmaceutical industries but also in working with start-ups and SMEs, including completing an MBA at the University of Warwick. John has proven management skills including leading finance teams across four national subsidiaries of a global company.

A selection of his career highlights as a Finance Director include:

  • Building a complex financial model which calculates net selling price to end customers. This innovative product solved significant problems in the company’s sales and marketing department.
  • A key role in a national restructuring, leading to a turnover increase of 50% within 18 months.
  • Membership of a management team on a successful acquisition run.
  • Building business plans for presentation to funding providers for start-up/growing companies.

Located in Woburn Sands, John has a wide variety of skills and experience to assist SMEs located from Oxford to London.
