In recent years the UK has been a great place to start ambitious companies – a vibrant Angel and VC market supported by tax incentives and a growing culture of collaboration and flexible working.

Covid-19 has given that ecosystem a real jolt – or has it? Since the start of 2020. London based companies have raised $4bn of VC funds – more than Paris, Stockholm, Berlin and Tel Aviv combined. The recent launch of Future Fund has already seen £50m of Government funds co-invested with other investors.
