EFM Ireland is pleased to announce a series of events & workshops with our partner Iconic Offices in Dublin. Our goal is to provide a bespoke financial education to growing SMEs which will help them understand their financial challenges and provide the type of independent, experienced and trusted guidance that is so hard to find or too expensive to consider.

Another successful Lunch & Learn event “Funding your business growth” in Dublin. Once again EFM and Iconic Offices are working hard to support SME growth and offer bespoke financial advice and education to some of Dublin`s most innovative companies! #IconicEvents

Our last event  “Funding your business growth” was held on the 7th of February at The Greenway Iconic office.  During this workshop EFM answered  the fundamental questions:

  • How to raise funds for your business.
  • The type of funding suitable for your business needs.
  • Understanding the difference between the various forms of debt and equity funding.
  • The advantages and disadvantages of debt financing and equity financing.
  • Taking you through the pitfalls to avoid when it comes to debt and equity.

Discussion was based around real-life examples (including those of the attendees) and the workshop was facilitated by experienced experts covering strategy, finance and the perspective of the investor.

The workshops was delivered by the team from EFM Ireland:

Gary Jesson (CEO of EFM Group and Finance Director)  Group MD and co-founder of EFM, Gary Jesson is a Business Advisor and Finance Director with over 40 years of experience in working with growing SME’s.  He applies his knowledge in a wide range of sectors providing strategic financial and business advisory services with a team of experienced professionals on hand to support. He is also directly involved as a director or founder of several companies including a medical business, family investment office and an e-commerce sticker business as well as mentoring many others.

William Mundow (CEO of EFM Ireland and Finance Director ) – Experienced Finance Director and a Qualified Certified Accountant with over 20 years of accounting experience under his belt, including raising finance, providing strong disciplines and leading companies through difficult periods. He is ideally placed both to grow the company and provide an excellent financial management to a wide range of SMEs.

Patrick Lavelle (Finance Director) – Finance Director in businesses ranging from start- ups to family-owned and up to multinational companies with operations across the globe. Patrick has led large teams across multiple locations and has a track record of implementing change programmes in complex operations.
