Conor Forde a qualified ACMA holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and has over 20 years’ experience in senior finance roles, including Finance Director and CFO, for leading global brands. Originally from Ireland and after working for 15 years in the UK Conor spent 10 years based in HK working across the Asia Pacific region leading the finance and operations of a major luxury brand.

Some highlights from his career include:

• Business Planning – Led the strategic planning processes both long and short-term for the Asia region at a time of unprecedented growth and change.
• Commercial Support - Protected the business with key accounts whilst ensuring credit risk was minimised during the financial crises in 2008.
• Business Set-up – Selection and management of key distribution partners to ensure the profitable development of a market.
• Business Analysis – Developed reporting functionality to support management with fact-based timely intelligence for decision-making.
• Treasury – Releasing significant amounts of trapped cash to the organisation.
• Finance Transformation – Led the move of Finance away from transactional only activity to become a business challenger and partner to business success.
• Cashflow – Delivered detailed management of cash and working capital requirements to ensure the ongoing viability of a business.
• System Deployment - Successfully completed a number of successful system deployments including a local reporting and budgeting tool, an expense system, and a regional ERP.
• New Technologies – Developed new tech to support the business including the use of Business Intelligence to support data-driven analysis and Robotics in both process (RPA) and supply chain activities to deliver efficient operations.
