Malcolm is a Director of the EFM Network and provides hands on, on-site business advisory support, through his professional and practical experience, gained through many years of business leadership, advisory practice and financial management. He is also a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, with over thirty years’ experience in general practice and management roles with medium sized accountancy firms and SME’s. Malcolm has spent the last 15 years running his own business, advising SME’s and high growth start-ups. He currently sits on the board of a number of Venture Capital backed high growth technology businesses’, and acts as a finance director for a regional Venture Capital Firm, where he assists in investment decisions. Malcolm has a wealth of experience in operating companies. He started, bought and sold his own businesses as well as assisting client companies in raising funds and realising value on exit. Away from the office Malcolm currently hosts a lecture on Private Equity and Venture Capital at the Manchester Business School on their Global MBA programme.
